I rescued happy from being snake food back in 2009. The lady at the pet shop told me how friendly she was and that she didn't want to see her be sold for snake food. I bought her, took her home and she gave me so much love. She loved being pet, she was very smart, she liked cheese nips. She was black with a greyish tone, and a spot on her back. Not sure exactly what kind of rat she was. She is buried out in my yard and she will never be forgotten. She made me start Cute Rats. Take a look at

| Archie Sr and Me (I was about 9yrs) |
Name: Archie
Speices: Rat
Breed: Tan Hoodie
Gender: Male
Pet Peeves: None
Archie Sr was my first rat. He was a hoodie, he was very friendly. I had him when I was a kid, I breed him with Bear a black female, and then came Archie Jr. Archie was blind and was scard if you picked him up wrong. Otherwise, he never bit me and loved to hang out with me.
I had other rats, but I don't have a picture of all of them, however, here are their memorials:
R.I.P Snowball & Snuggles two male Siamese rats we adopted, gorgous, friendly lovable fellows! Always missed! We tried to take Snuggles to the vet but he was having seizures and he had to be put down. Snowball was paralized and we put him day way back.
R.I.P Archie Jr. He liked being pet, not handled though. He squeeked when you picked him up.
R.I.P Squeeky, my cream colored male. He was one of my favorites, so was Snowball and Snuggles, he loved me so much and he loved being held and pet!
R.I.P. Angel, she was born with us. She lived a long life, she escaped the cage a lot but was friendly.
R.I.P. Peanut a female tan hoodie.
R.I.P. Cocoa, a mother female black rat.
R.I.P. To all the rats I owned, that I just can't think of all of them, many of them were part of a litter and were rehomed. There was this litter that my rat Angel had, a ladder in the cage fell onto them and killed them. Angel managed to grab three of her precious babies out of the way of the danger of the falling ladder. Many baby rats died, and only 3 survived. At the time, we buried the deseased babies outside. Angel was a good pet for many years, and eventually died herself from old age. She was a great mother and raised baby rats. I remember the two surviving girls. I don't remember the third one, there was Vanilla and Rosie. This all happened years back but I thought it would be a nice memorial to post about Angel and her babies. Its also a warning to rat owners to be sure the cage is safe, and there is no ladder that is going to hurt your rats or anything else that may.
