 PEW RATS

Winston, being Pet.

Pink eyed white rats, also known as the Albino or Lab Rat, is a common target for sceintist and snake owner's. They are used most commonly as snake food or some science experiment. In a labratory, these rats are treated in a very cruel fashion. They are used in experiments that extremly risky. (Ex: To test out medicines).

Below is a question I thought up about Albino rats, and the answer to this question is what I thought I should say.

Q: Are Albino Rats Diffrent From your Adverage Rat?

A: PEW rats have pink eyes, they are pure white. Some Albino rats tend to have black eyes, but PEW rats have ruby color eyes. Albinos rat can be high energy as babies. They are less desirable to some people because they can be seen as being "plain" or just "white". They are also well known for being a lab rat, there are people who are grossed out with rats in general, but the lab rat's pinkish red eyes may make a "mutant" impression on some people. If held enough, they can be very tame. My albino rats don't get along to great with each other so it might be a great idea to keep your Albino in a cage of his own. As with the average female rats, PEW females tend to be high strung. These rats can be good ones, but need time to settle in, and their behavior can be a little more active in some circumstances.

Why should you consider a PEW Rat?

Albino rats can be good pets when handled, and raised to be. If you do not pet your rat enough when young, that could cause him to become afraid. Be sure to pet your rat and hold it when its a baby. Albino rats are misunderstood by certain people as being mutant lab experiment rats. They need a good home too, and should not be used to experimenting. As horrible as experimenting sounds, there is not much we can do to save every rat. However, if you want to bring home a pet rat consider an Albino rat.

How do I know about PEW Rats?

I have a Albino named Winston. He is friendly, he hasn't bit me, he is better off being the only rat in a cage though. Him and Clyde weren't getting along to great so we seperated them.
